NEW DATE! Sunday, June 3rd from 2:00pm-4:30pm

$25/per person ($20 with early registration)

What is karma and how does it affect us? This fascinating workshop will explore the law of cause and effect and the principles of reincarnation according to different yogic scriptures and in modern science. Students will learn  about karma as described in Vedic astrology (jyotish) and learn how to purify their karmas with practical and powerful teachings on how to break the bonds of past actions. Understanding the goal of Karma yoga and discovering these ancient sacred teachings according to the Bhagavad Gita, the workshop will  also explore the possibility of akarma where actions may no longer have an effect on the material body. Following the guidance and advice of great Indian sages, students will begin to understand how the yogi can practice to enter the spiritual realm leaving rebirth behind!

Have you met Yoda?

Yoda is the Jedi master--YES. He likes to keep fit. When he's not practicing yoga, he likes to hit the treadmill. Yoda, on behalf of all of the animals, asks that you please not wear fur to the Buddha B Yoga Center. He says we are a cruelty-free zone. For more information about the brutality involved in killing animals for their skins go to: http://www.peta.org/

Thank you.

Go Vegan! The animals are ready.

Thank you so very much to Ingrid Newkirk, co-founder and president of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). It was the greatest honor to have you speak at the Buddha B Yoga Center. You are a true hero, a karma yogi, a holy teacher and an inspiration to us all!  Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu: May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words and actions of our own lives contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all. Shanti. Shanti. Shanti. PEACE.
