The Road to Damascus with Cynthia Mewborn
Cynthia Mewborn has a powerful and moving story to share this holiday season. She has been selling Street Sense for a year and has been homeless for more than three years. In fall of 2013, she was invited to speak at the opening of the 'Loving Kindness Relic' that took place at the Church of the Holy City, in Washington DC hosted by Allies in Compassion and Buddha Fest.
As part of her lecture series called the Samaritan Road, Cynthia will lead the Buddha B Yoga Center December 2013 Karma Yoga satsung with her discussions on God's unfailing love for humanity, how to open our hearts in becoming good Samaritans, and practicing compassion towards all life on the planet. The satsung will include a lecture, chanting, meditation, and group discussion with Q & A.
Suggested Donation: $15/per person (all funds will go directly to Cynthia Mewborn)
Date: Saturday, December 21st, 2:30pm-4:30pm
